About this product

ACF Frontend Pro 3.29.9 lets people add and edit WordPress content from the front of your site, through forms you place on ordinary pages, so they never need the admin area. The developer now sells it as Frontend Admin, and this is the same plugin under its old name. It is for sites where members, clients or vendors look after their own posts, profiles or products: client dashboards, membership sites with sign-up forms and shops that let sellers submit WooCommerce products.

What's in the ACF Frontend Pro download

Our download is the original ACF Frontend Pro ZIP for version 3.29.9, with the license key already activated. The plugin inside carries its current name, Frontend Admin (Premium). This version already has the Payment Form block. The Steps block and character counters on every text field came in later releases and are not in this file. Advanced Custom Fields, Elementor and Bricks are separate plugins and are not included.

Good to know

The plugin runs on its own: it no longer needs Advanced Custom Fields, though it can still show ACF fields in its forms. Elementor, Bricks and the block editor are supported but not required, and a shortcode works in other builders. New forms are visible to administrators only until you add roles under Form Settings, Permissions. If a permission rule has an empty message, the form stays hidden and the page can look blank.

How to install ACF Frontend Pro

  3. Click Install Now, wait for the upload to finish, then click Activate Plugin.
  4. Open Frontend Admin, Forms and click Add New to build your first form; pick Frontend Form if you are unsure which type fits.
  5. Under Form Settings, Permissions add the roles that may use the form, click Update, then paste its shortcode into any page.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the original file?

Yes. Every product on GPLGuide is the developer’s own release, unchanged. The license key comes already activated. If a product does ask for a key, the activation steps appear on its page once you have it.

Is it legal to use a GPL plugin or theme from GPLGuide?

Yes. WordPress plugins and themes are released under the GPL, which lets anyone use, share and change the code. The developer’s support desk and the developer’s own update service are not part of the file; those stay with the developer.

How do I install it?

Log in, open the product page and click Download under Your downloads. For a plugin go to Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP, then Install Now and Activate. For a theme go to Appearance, Themes, Add New Theme, Upload Theme.

How do updates work?

When a newer version is listed on GPLGuide, download it from the product page and upload it over the installed copy; WordPress offers to replace the old version. Updates are manual.

Can I use it on more than one site?

Yes. The GPL lets you use it on as many of your own sites as you like.

What if the file does not work or a newer version is out?

Tell us on the Request Item page or through Support. We check the file and add the newer version when we have it.
