About this product
Advanced Charts Add-on for WPBakery 1.7 adds Chart.js charts to WPBakery Page Builder, the page builder that used to be called Visual Composer. It's for sites already built with WPBakery that need to show numbers on a page: a company report, survey results, a sales comparison or a project status page. Instead of pasting a screenshot of a spreadsheet chart, you add the chart as an element in the same editor you use for the rest of the page and set it up there.
What's in the Advanced Charts Add-on for WPBakery download
Our download is the original Advanced Charts Add-on for WPBakery ZIP for version 1.7, with the license key already activated. It holds the chart add-on only. WPBakery Page Builder itself is a separate plugin and is not in this file. The developer also offers a separate Chart.js plugin for the block editor and Elementor; that's a different product and not part of this download.
Good to know
You need WPBakery Page Builder installed and active, because the charts are WPBakery elements and have nowhere to appear without it. The developer's page doesn't list minimum WordPress or PHP versions. The JavaScript option expects valid Chart.js option code, so take option names from the Chart.js documentation. Later releases, newer than this file, updated the add-on's REST API code for WordPress 5.5 and newer and removed old jQuery UI scripts.
How to install Advanced Charts Add-on for WPBakery
- If your site doesn't run WPBakery Page Builder yet, install and activate it first, since the charts are WPBakery elements.
- Log in to GPLGuide, open this product and click Download under Your downloads.
- Go to Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP you downloaded and click Install Now.
- Click Activate when WordPress finishes uploading and installing the plugin.
- Edit a page with WPBakery Page Builder, click Add Element and add the chart element; its settings open in the WPBakery element panel.
Features & capabilities
- Seven chart types from the Chart.js library, each added to a page as a WPBakery element.
- Chart settings in the usual WPBakery element panel, so a basic chart needs no code.
- Full control when the panel isn't enough: pass your own Chart.js options in JavaScript.
- Any valid Chart.js option is accepted, so the library's own documentation applies.
- Charts sit in WPBakery rows and columns next to your text, images and other elements.
- Add as many charts to a page as you need; each element keeps its own chart type and data.
Frequently asked questions
Is this the original file?
Yes. Every product on GPLGuide is the developer’s own release, unchanged. The license key comes already activated. If a product does ask for a key, the activation steps appear on its page once you have it.
Is it legal to use a GPL plugin or theme from GPLGuide?
Yes. WordPress plugins and themes are released under the GPL, which lets anyone use, share and change the code. The developer’s support desk and the developer’s own update service are not part of the file; those stay with the developer.
How do I install it?
Log in, open the product page and click Download under Your downloads. For a plugin go to Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP, then Install Now and Activate. For a theme go to Appearance, Themes, Add New Theme, Upload Theme.
How do updates work?
When a newer version is listed on GPLGuide, download it from the product page and upload it over the installed copy; WordPress offers to replace the old version. Updates are manual.
Can I use it on more than one site?
Yes. The GPL lets you use it on as many of your own sites as you like.
What if the file does not work or a newer version is out?
Tell us on the Request Item page or through Support. We check the file and add the newer version when we have it.
