About this product
AffiliateWP Leaderboard 1.2 is a small add-on for AffiliateWP that shows a ranked list of your top affiliates on a page or in a sidebar of your WordPress site. It is for stores, course sites and membership sites that run their own affiliate program and want a little friendly competition. Affiliates can see who sends the most referrals, the people at the top get public credit, and newer partners can see what the leaders achieve. It works well on the page where you already talk to your affiliates.
What's in the AffiliateWP Leaderboard download
Our download is the original AffiliateWP Leaderboard ZIP for version 1.2. It holds the leaderboard shortcode, a sidebar widget and a PHP function for developers who want the board somewhere else in a theme. AffiliateWP itself is not part of this file, so it needs to be on your site already. The look comes from your theme: the developer leaves styling to your own CSS.
Good to know
Install and activate AffiliateWP before this add-on. This version needs AffiliateWP 2.6 or newer and WordPress 5.2 or newer. Only referrals with the Paid status count, so pending and unpaid referrals don't move anyone up the list, and the earnings column shows paid earnings. With no attributes, the shortcode shows ten affiliates ordered by referrals, and you add the columns you want yourself.
How to install AffiliateWP Leaderboard
- Install and activate AffiliateWP first, because the leaderboard reads its affiliate data.
- Log in to GPLGuide, open this product and click Download under Your downloads.
- In your WordPress dashboard go to Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin and choose the ZIP you downloaded.
- Click Install Now, then click Activate to switch the add-on on.
- The board is set up through its shortcode: add [affiliate_leaderboard] to any page, or place the Affiliate Leaderboard widget in a sidebar.

Frequently asked questions
Is this the original file?
Yes. Every product on GPLGuide is the developer’s own release, unchanged. The license key comes already activated. If a product does ask for a key, the activation steps appear on its page once you have it.
Is it legal to use a GPL plugin or theme from GPLGuide?
Yes. WordPress plugins and themes are released under the GPL, which lets anyone use, share and change the code. The developer’s support desk and the developer’s own update service are not part of the file; those stay with the developer.
How do I install it?
Log in, open the product page and click Download under Your downloads. For a plugin go to Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP, then Install Now and Activate. For a theme go to Appearance, Themes, Add New Theme, Upload Theme.
How do updates work?
When a newer version is listed on GPLGuide, download it from the product page and upload it over the installed copy; WordPress offers to replace the old version. Updates are manual.
Can I use it on more than one site?
Yes. The GPL lets you use it on as many of your own sites as you like.
What if the file does not work or a newer version is out?
Tell us on the Request Item page or through Support. We check the file and add the newer version when we have it.
