About this product
The Carriar theme is a WordPress theme for transport and logistics companies: freight forwarders, trucking firms, couriers and parcel services. It's built with Elementor and comes with two home layouts, Home Style 1 and Home Style 2, plus separate pages for train, road, ocean and air transport, a shipment price form, case studies and a small WooCommerce shop. This page is for the Carriar theme 1.0.4, released on January 12, 2026. On GPLGuide you download the original theme file to install on your own websites.
Good for: freight forwarders, road haulage and trucking companies, courier and parcel firms, air and ocean cargo agents, warehouse operators and relocation services that need a company site with service pages, a quote form and space for case studies.
Requirements: PHP 7.4 or greater, as set in the theme's style.css, which lists WordPress 6.9 as the tested version. The docs add MySQL 5 or MariaDB 10.0 or greater and suggest a 256M memory limit, a 128M upload size and max_input_vars set to 3000. Two plugins ship inside the theme, Carriar Core and Codestar Framework, and install from its plugin prompt. The other five are free: Elementor, Contact Form 7, WooCommerce, MailChimp for WordPress and One Click Demo Import.
What the Carriar theme does
The Carriar theme is for businesses that move goods. The demo is built around four modes of transport, each with its own service page: Train Transport, Road Transport, Ocean Logistic and Air Transport. Around those sit case studies, team and testimonial pages, a blog and a parcel shop.
Pages are built in Elementor. The Carriar Core plugin adds the theme's own Elementor widgets, which appear in a Carriar Theme group in the Elementor panel, and it registers three custom post types: service, project and team. That's why the docs ask you to tick those post types under Elementor, Settings after the import.
Global settings live in Theme Options, which runs on the Codestar Framework, while colors are handled in the Customizer with a live preview. The demo uses the Inter font and icons from the Themify and Flaticon icon fonts. The item page also lists a sticky menu while scrolling, unlimited colors, smooth animations and Google Maps with multiple locations.
Home Style 1, Home Style 2 and the inner pages
Both Carriar theme home layouts tell the same story, top to bottom. A hero with two slides, "We are Qualified & Professional" and "We Provide the Best Transport Solution", leads into an About block. Then come a four card services row, an intro video, Recent Case Studies, an expert team row, a "Join with us" call to action, client testimonials, the price form and the latest blog posts.
Home Style 2 changes the presentation more than the content. Its hero runs as two banners with Get Started buttons, and on the demo its header includes a shopping cart. Pick it if you'll sell parcel boxes through the shop. On the inner pages, the topbar carries an address, office hours, a Call Us number and an E-mail Now link, and the header ends in a Speak Expert button.
Every service page in the Carriar theme follows one template: a large photo, an intro, a short list on how to book the service, a "Why choose this service?" block with an image and a YouTube video, and a closing pitch. The sidebar holds a search box, the All Services list and a contact box with your phone number and a Get A Quote button. Case studies show as numbered cards with a Read More link to each project.
The Pages menu adds Team, Testimonials, Tracking, Contact and a 404 page, and the blog comes as Blog Default, Blog Left Sidebar and Blog Full Width. The shop demo sells parcel sizes such as Small Parcel 1-2kg and Big Parcel 6-20kg at sale prices. Handy for a courier that sells prepaid shipping.

The price form and the Tracking page
On a freight site, the quote form matters most. Carriar puts it on both home layouts under the heading "Easy to check your product price." It's a Contact Form 7 form split into Personal Info and Shipment Info. The shipment half asks for delivery city, departure city, freight type, Incoterms, weight and Express or Regular service, and it ends with a Get a Quote button.
Know this before launch: the menu item called Tracking doesn't track parcels. On the demo it opens the same price form under a Tracking title, and there's no field for a tracking number. If customers expect to enter a consignment number, you'll need a tracking plugin or a link to your carrier portal. Or rename the page Get a Quote, which is what it really is.
The docs print the code for both demo forms, and both need editing. The Incoterms dropdown holds placeholder values from "Value One" to "Value Four", so swap in the terms you actually quote under, such as EXW, FOB, CIF or DDP. The general contact form's Services list in the docs still has sample entries like Photography and Perfect Cake. Replace them with Train, Road, Ocean and Air Transport before pasting it.
Theme Options, page settings and sidebars
Site-wide settings sit under Appearance, Theme Options. The docs name the Logo, Layout Options, Header and Footer panels, plus Backup, for importing a settings string, and Custom Sidebar, for extra sidebars. Colors are set separately in Appearance, Customizer, where the preview updates as you click.
Per page, the Page Settings box lets you pick a different header template, change the banner image, hide the header and footer, and add a topbar shortcode. Hiding both suits a landing page you link from an ad. The service, project, blog and footer areas all use widget sidebars, managed in Appearance, Widgets.
The footer logo and the short company line under it come from a shortcode builder at Appearance, Widget, Add Shortcode. The demo footer then adds Navigation and All Services link columns and a Newsletter area. MailChimp for WordPress, on the plugin list, can supply that sign-up form.
Carriar theme setups for transport companies
Each setup uses pages already in the Carriar theme demo, so the work is mostly new text and photos.
- Regional trucking company: Home Style 1, only the Road Transport service page, depot address and office hours in the topbar, and the price form for load quotes with Express or Regular.
- Freight forwarder: all four service pages, the Incoterms field filled with the terms you trade on, and a case study for each major lane or client.
- Courier and parcel service: Home Style 2 with the header cart, the shop for prepaid parcel sizes, and the Tracking page renamed or linked to your tracking portal.
- Air and ocean cargo agent: Air Transport and Ocean Logistic pages first, a short port video in each service page's YouTube block, and shipper testimonials.
- Warehouse or 3PL operator: one service page renamed Warehousing, the team page for account managers, and a map pin for each warehouse.
Write the copy before you open Elementor. A service page needs one paragraph on what you move, four short steps for booking and two lines on why customers pick you. That's the shape of the Carriar theme's service template.
What's new in the Carriar theme 1.0.4
Carriar 1.0.4 came out on January 12, 2026 and is a maintenance release. It adds WordPress 6.9.x compatibility, fixes PHP deprecation notices and a WooCommerce deprecation issue, and repairs broken comments.
Version 1.0.3 (June 15, 2025) added PHP 8.2 and WordPress 6.6.x compatibility. Version 1.0.2 (May 15, 2024) added PHP 8.1 and WordPress 6.5.2 support, updated the core plugin and fixed a post type select error. Version 1.0.1 (August 17, 2023) brought PHP 8, WordPress 6.3 and WooCommerce 8.0.1 compatibility, improved Theme Options and the framework files, and fixed the demo import.
Good to know before you buy
Carriar is a small, focused theme. There are two home layouts, and the item page's "Coming Soon More" note hasn't turned into new demos across four updates, which were mostly compatibility fixes. Expect a tidy base, not a library of starter sites.
The documentation is short and partly reused. It calls the theme ZIP transfar.zip, and its sample contact form lists wedding services, so read it as a guide. The item page names Bootstrap 3.x in the feature list and Bootstrap 5.x under compatibility, so check the version in the files if you plan custom code.
Seven plugins are part of the setup. Carriar Core and Codestar Framework come inside the theme, and Carriar Core is the one you can't skip, because the post types and custom widgets live there. The docs don't mention any cloud library, AI tool or other service on the developer's servers.
Carriar theme from GPLGuide vs the official subscription
On ThemeForest the Carriar theme costs $59 for a Regular licence, which includes future updates through Envato and six months of support from the developer. Extending support to 12 months costs $17.63. Under Envato's licence for this item, its PHP code is licensed under the GPL.
From GPLGuide you get the original Carriar 1.0.4 theme file, with the same two home layouts, the service and case study templates, Theme Options and the price form, plus the Carriar Core and Codestar Framework plugins that ship inside it. The license key is already activated in the file, so you can start building right away.
A few things come only with a ThemeForest purchase: the developer's support forum, refunds under Envato's rules and updates delivered to your Envato account. If you want the developer's help, buy the licence there.
How to install the Carriar theme
- Sign in to GPLGuide, open My Account, Downloads and save the Carriar theme ZIP.
- Go to Appearance, Themes, Add New Theme, Upload Theme, choose the ZIP and activate it.
- From the theme's plugin prompt, install the bundled Carriar Core and Codestar Framework, then Elementor, WooCommerce, Contact Form 7, MailChimp for WordPress and One Click Demo Import.
- Open Appearance, Install Demo, click Import Demo Data, then tick service, project and team under Elementor, Settings.

Raise PHP limits to the docs' values before the import, or it can stop halfway. Afterwards, tick Disable Default Colors and Disable Default Fonts in Elementor, Settings so the theme's own colors and Inter font come through. Then set your logo in Theme Options, fill in the topbar address and hours, rewrite the four service pages and fix the Incoterms list. Send yourself a test quote before you go live.
Keeping it up to date
Updates from GPLGuide are manual. When a newer version of the Carriar theme is listed here, download it from your account and upload it under Appearance, Themes, Add New Theme, Upload Theme. WordPress offers to replace the installed copy. Carriar Core ships inside the theme and past releases updated it, so after an upgrade, check the plugin prompt for a newer copy. If you change theme code, use a child theme as the docs advise. Spotted a release we haven't added? Tell us on the Request Item/Update page.
Questions about the Carriar theme
Does the Carriar theme include real parcel tracking? No. The demo's Tracking page is the price form under another title, so add a tracking plugin if you need one.
Which page builder does the Carriar theme use? Elementor. Carriar Core adds the custom widgets, grouped in the Elementor panel.
How many home pages are there? Two, Home Style 1 and Home Style 2. They share the same sections and differ mainly in the hero and the header cart.
Can I sell products with the Carriar theme? Yes. WooCommerce is supported, and the demo shop sells parcel sizes and boxes.
Is Carriar Core really required? Yes. It ships inside the theme, and the demo pages are built from its shortcodes, widgets and post types.
Can I import the demo by hand? Yes. The docs cover contents.xml through Tools, Import, widgets.wie through Widget Importer & Exporter, and theme-options.txt through Theme Options, Backup.
Which PHP version does it need? PHP 7.4 or greater, per the theme's style.css. The older docs say 7.0.
Do I have to buy any plugins? No. Carriar Core and Codestar Framework come inside the theme, and the other five plugins are free.
Do I need a purchase code? No. The GPLGuide file of Carriar 1.0.4 comes with the license key already activated.
