About this product
Soledad Theme 8.7.7 is a WordPress theme for blogs, online magazines and newspaper-style sites, with WooCommerce support for selling next to your content. It fits bloggers, food and travel writers, niche publishers and small news teams who want a large choice of ready homepages to start from and close control over how posts, archives and sliders look. It also suits publishers who want paywalled posts, podcasts or live blogs handled by the theme instead of a separate plugin for each job.
What's in the Soledad Theme download
Our download is the original Soledad theme ZIP for version 8.7.7, with the license key already activated. The theme ships with its own add-on plugins, among them a demo importer and plugins for reviews, recipes, paywalls, podcasts, live blogs, finance and sports data. Version 8.7.7 fixes security issues across the theme and its bundled plugins and updates the WooCommerce templates. The photos on the demo sites are not included when you import a demo.
Good to know
The developer lists Soledad as compatible with WordPress 6.0 through 7.0 and WooCommerce 6 through 9, with WordPress 7.1 support added in 8.7.6 and PHP 8.5 support in 8.7.3. An Installation Wizard opens on first activation, and the demo importer installs the plugins each demo needs. Before you switch on the theme's Speed Optimization options, turn off CSS and JS merging, minifying and lazyload in other plugins and deactivate caching plugins, as the developer's speed guide says.

Frequently asked questions
Is this the original file?
Yes. Every product on GPLGuide is the developer’s own release, unchanged. The license key comes already activated. If a product does ask for a key, the activation steps appear on its page once you have it.
Is it legal to use a GPL plugin or theme from GPLGuide?
Yes. WordPress plugins and themes are released under the GPL, which lets anyone use, share and change the code. The developer’s support desk and the developer’s own update service are not part of the file; those stay with the developer.
How do I install it?
Log in, open the product page and click Download under Your downloads. For a plugin go to Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP, then Install Now and Activate. For a theme go to Appearance, Themes, Add New Theme, Upload Theme.
How do updates work?
When a newer version is listed on GPLGuide, download it from the product page and upload it over the installed copy; WordPress offers to replace the old version. Updates are manual.
Can I use it on more than one site?
Yes. The GPL lets you use it on as many of your own sites as you like.
What if the file does not work or a newer version is out?
Tell us on the Request Item page or through Support. We check the file and add the newer version when we have it.
