About this product

WooCommerce Subscriptions 9.3.0 lets a WooCommerce store charge customers on a schedule instead of once. It's made for shops that sell the same thing again and again: coffee, pet food or meal kits by the month, subscription boxes, software or memberships billed by the year, and services paid weekly. Customers sign up once, and every renewal after that becomes a normal store order, so you stop chasing payments by email and keep all subscribers in the WordPress admin next to your other orders.

What's in the WooCommerce Subscriptions download

Our download is the original WooCommerce Subscriptions ZIP for version 9.3.0, with the license key already activated. Since version 9.0 the plugin includes what used to be the separate All Products for Subscriptions extension, so an existing product can be sold one-time, as a subscription or both. Gifting is part of the plugin too. WooCommerce Memberships and add-ons such as Email Reminders or Minimum Periods are sold separately and are not in this file.

Good to know

The plugin needs WordPress 7.0 or newer, WooCommerce 11.0 or newer and PHP 7.4 or newer. Automatic renewals only run through a gateway that supports them, such as Stripe or PayPal; with any other gateway the customer gets an invoice and pays each renewal by hand. If the site's address changes, for example on a staging copy, the plugin switches to staging mode and stops automatic payments and subscription emails until you click Enable Automatic Payments in the admin notice.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the original file?

Yes. Every product on GPLGuide is the developer’s own release, unchanged. The license key comes already activated. If a product does ask for a key, the activation steps appear on its page once you have it.

Is it legal to use a GPL plugin or theme from GPLGuide?

Yes. WordPress plugins and themes are released under the GPL, which lets anyone use, share and change the code. The developer’s support desk and the developer’s own update service are not part of the file; those stay with the developer.

How do I install it?

Log in, open the product page and click Download under Your downloads. For a plugin go to Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP, then Install Now and Activate. For a theme go to Appearance, Themes, Add New Theme, Upload Theme.

How do updates work?

When a newer version is listed on GPLGuide, download it from the product page and upload it over the installed copy; WordPress offers to replace the old version. Updates are manual.

Can I use it on more than one site?

Yes. The GPL lets you use it on as many of your own sites as you like.

What if the file does not work or a newer version is out?

Tell us on the Request Item page or through Support. We check the file and add the newer version when we have it.
