About this product
aBlocks Pro 2.5.0 is the paid add-on for aBlocks, a free plugin that turns the WordPress block editor into a page and site builder. It is for people who build sites in Gutenberg instead of a separate page builder and want their blocks to react to the visitor: agency and portfolio sites, landing pages, course and membership sites, and small shops where some content should only appear for logged-in users or certain roles. You keep working in the normal editor, and Pro adds its options to the blocks you already use.
What's in the aBlocks Pro download
Our download is the original aBlocks Pro ZIP for version 2.5.0, with the license key already activated. It holds the Pro add-on only. The free aBlocks plugin, which supplies the blocks themselves, is not in this file; you install it from the WordPress plugin directory. Pro does nothing on its own, because it adds its controls to the blocks the free plugin provides.
Good to know
Our file asks for WordPress 6.3 or newer and PHP 7.4 or newer. The developer's guide says aBlocks and aBlocks Pro must stay active at the same time, so don't deactivate or delete the free plugin once Pro is running. The free plugin's directory page now lists WordPress 6.8 as its minimum, so check your WordPress version first. Pro options such as Display Conditions sit inside each block's sidebar, under aBlocks Settings, Advanced, not on a separate admin page.
How to install aBlocks Pro
- Install and activate the free aBlocks plugin: go to Plugins, Add New Plugin, search for aBlocks, click Install Now and then Activate.
- Log in to GPLGuide, open this product and click Download under Your downloads.
- In your dashboard go to Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin, choose the aBlocks Pro ZIP and click Install Now.
- Click Activate Plugin, then check under Plugins, Installed Plugins that aBlocks and aBlocks Pro both show as active.
- Open the new aBlocks menu in the left sidebar, then edit a page and find the Pro options under aBlocks Settings, Advanced for each block.
Features & capabilities
- Display Conditions show or hide any block by post details, user login status or role, date and time, or archive page.
- Each rule can be set to Is or Is Not, with AND inside a condition group and OR between groups.
- Motion and scrolling effects move elements smoothly as visitors scroll down the page.
- Mouse effects make elements respond to the visitor's cursor.
- Sticky and floating effects keep a menu, button or offer in view while the page scrolls.
- Tooltips show extra information on hover without crowding the layout.
- Group image effect applies one set of motion settings to several images at once.
- Everything is set per block in the normal WordPress editor, next to the free plugin's styling and responsive options.
Frequently asked questions
Is this the original file?
Yes. Every product on GPLGuide is the developer’s own release, unchanged. The license key comes already activated. If a product does ask for a key, the activation steps appear on its page once you have it.
Is it legal to use a GPL plugin or theme from GPLGuide?
Yes. WordPress plugins and themes are released under the GPL, which lets anyone use, share and change the code. The developer’s support desk and the developer’s own update service are not part of the file; those stay with the developer.
How do I install it?
Log in, open the product page and click Download under Your downloads. For a plugin go to Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP, then Install Now and Activate. For a theme go to Appearance, Themes, Add New Theme, Upload Theme.
How do updates work?
When a newer version is listed on GPLGuide, download it from the product page and upload it over the installed copy; WordPress offers to replace the old version. Updates are manual.
Can I use it on more than one site?
Yes. The GPL lets you use it on as many of your own sites as you like.
