About this product
Advanced Ads Slider 2.0.2 is the add-on that turns an ad group in the free Advanced Ads plugin into a carousel that shows one ad at a time in the same spot. It fits sites with several sponsors, partner banners or house ads competing for one header, sidebar or in-content slot, where only one of them would otherwise be seen per page view. Every ad in the group gets its turn while the visitor reads, and the slider adapts to desktop, tablet and phone screens.
What's in the Advanced Ads Slider download
Our download is the original Advanced Ads Slider ZIP for version 2.0.2. It contains the slider add-on only. The free Advanced Ads plugin comes from the WordPress plugin screen. Impression counts for slider ads need the separate Tracking add-on, which is not in this file, and Advanced Ads Pro and the other add-ons are sold separately as well.
Good to know
The file needs WordPress 5.7 or newer, PHP 7.4 or newer and the free Advanced Ads plugin. The slider runs full width and sits below other elements, so a narrow or floating slider needs a little custom CSS, such as a placement with a set width. If the browser console shows "unslider is not a function", jQuery is loading twice on the page; remove the duplicate. GIFs are preloaded and may not start on their first frame.
How to install Advanced Ads Slider
- Install and activate the free Advanced Ads plugin under Plugins, Add New Plugin, because the slider add-on depends on this core ad plugin.
- Log in to GPLGuide, open this product and click Download under Your downloads.
- Go to Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin and choose the Slider ZIP you saved to your computer.
- Click Install Now, then Activate, and keep the free Advanced Ads plugin active too.
- Open Advanced Ads, Groups, then create a group or edit one and set its type to Ad Slider to see the slider options.

Is this the original file?
Yes. Every product on GPLGuide is the developer’s own release, unchanged. The license key comes already activated. If a product does ask for a key, the activation steps appear on its page once you have it.

How do updates work?
When a newer version is listed on GPLGuide, download it from the product page and upload it over the installed copy; WordPress offers to replace the old version. Updates are manual.
