About this product
Advanced Database Cleaner Pro 4.2.0 is the paid edition of the Advanced Database Cleaner plugin from its classic 3.x line. It is for site owners and agencies whose WordPress database has grown heavy after years of adding and removing plugins and themes. Old revisions and spam pile up, and options, tables and cron jobs stay behind long after the plugin that made them is gone. This edition tells you who owns each item before you delete it, so you clean based on facts, not guesses.
What's in the Advanced Database Cleaner Pro download
Our download is the original Advanced Database Cleaner Pro ZIP for version 4.2.0, with the license key already activated. It is the 3.x edition with the classic tabbed screens under Tools. The rebuilt 4.x line, with its remote scan credits, database analytics module and Action Scheduler cleaners, came later and is not part of this file.
Good to know
The developer's install guide has you upload and activate this ZIP on its own, with no free base plugin first. Back up your database before any cleanup, as the developer advises, and only delete cron tasks you know are not needed. Items stay in an Uncategorized group until you run the scan that sorts them by owner. On Multisite, network activate the plugin; only the main site can open it.
How to install Advanced Database Cleaner Pro
- Log in to GPLGuide, open this product and click Download under Your downloads.
- Back up your WordPress database with your usual backup tool before you install or clean anything.
- In WordPress, go to Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin and choose the ZIP you downloaded.
- Click Install Now, then Activate. On Multisite, use Network Admin, Plugins and network activate it instead.
- Open Tools, WP DB Cleaner and start on the General clean-up tab. The plugin settings can move it to its own left menu item.

- Removes orphaned post, comment, user and term meta plus orphaned term relationships.

- Scheduled cleanups: create as many tasks as you need, each with its own items, from once to monthly.
- Optimizes, repairs, empties or deletes database tables and refreshes the numbers right after optimizing.
- Options screen with each option's size, the total autoload size and a switch to set autoload to yes or no.
- Pro scan sorts options, tables and cron jobs by owner (plugin, theme or WordPress) and flags orphans of removed plugins.
- Search and filter every list by several criteria, and correct a wrong owner by hand when the scan misjudges an item.

Is this the original file?
Yes. Every product on GPLGuide is the developer’s own release, unchanged. The license key comes already activated. If a product does ask for a key, the activation steps appear on its page once you have it.
