About this product
AffiliateWP Fraud Prevention 1.0.3 is an add-on for AffiliateWP that checks visits and referrals for signs of affiliate fraud before you pay for them. It is for stores and membership sites with an open affiliate program, where some affiliates buy through their own link for a discount, send traffic from sites they never told you about, or post conversion rates that look too good to be real. Instead of hunting for those cases in your reports by hand, you set a rule for each kind once and review only what gets flagged.
What's in the AffiliateWP Fraud Prevention download
Our download is the original AffiliateWP Fraud Prevention ZIP for version 1.0.3, with the license key already activated. It adds an Anti-Fraud tab to the AffiliateWP settings and builds on the fraud tools AffiliateWP already has. AffiliateWP itself is not in this file. The PPC traffic and IP velocity checks came later, inside AffiliateWP itself, and are not part of this add-on.
Good to know
Install and activate AffiliateWP first. Version 1.0.3 was built for the reorganised settings layout that arrived with AffiliateWP 2.18.0. From AffiliateWP 2.31.0 the developer builds these checks into AffiliateWP itself under one Anti-Fraud tab and moves add-on users over, so check which AffiliateWP version your site runs before you install it. The referring site check compares traffic with the website URLs affiliates enter when they sign up, so ask for those URLs on your registration form.
How to install AffiliateWP Fraud Prevention
- Install and activate AffiliateWP first, since this add-on extends its own fraud tools.
- Log in to GPLGuide, open this product and click Download under Your downloads.
- In your WordPress dashboard go to Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin and choose the ZIP you downloaded.
- Click Install Now, then click Activate to switch the add-on on.
- Go to AffiliateWP, Settings and open the Anti-Fraud tab to pick how each check handles a suspicious visit or referral.

Frequently asked questions
Is this the original file?
Yes. Every product on GPLGuide is the developer’s own release, unchanged. The license key comes already activated. If a product does ask for a key, the activation steps appear on its page once you have it.
Is it legal to use a GPL plugin or theme from GPLGuide?
Yes. WordPress plugins and themes are released under the GPL, which lets anyone use, share and change the code. The developer’s support desk and the developer’s own update service are not part of the file; those stay with the developer.
How do I install it?
Log in, open the product page and click Download under Your downloads. For a plugin go to Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP, then Install Now and Activate. For a theme go to Appearance, Themes, Add New Theme, Upload Theme.
How do updates work?
When a newer version is listed on GPLGuide, download it from the product page and upload it over the installed copy; WordPress offers to replace the old version. Updates are manual.
Can I use it on more than one site?
Yes. The GPL lets you use it on as many of your own sites as you like.
