About this product
AffiliateWP Multi-Tier Commissions 1.4.5 is an add-on for AffiliateWP that pays affiliates a share of the sales made by the affiliates they recruit, not only of their own referrals. It is meant for stores and other sites that already run an affiliate program and want their best partners to grow the team, in the way network marketing plans reward recruiting. You choose how deep the network goes and what each level earns, and your affiliates get a reason to bring in other good affiliates.
What's in the AffiliateWP Multi-Tier Commissions download
Our download is the original AffiliateWP Multi-Tier Commissions ZIP for version 1.4.5. It contains the add-on only. AffiliateWP itself is not in this file and has to be installed first. Tiered Affiliate Rates, which rewards an affiliate's own sales milestones rather than recruits, is a different add-on, and the Affiliate Portal is a separate download as well.
Good to know
You need AffiliateWP installed and active, and the developer asks for a current WordPress release and PHP 8 or newer for every add-on. Tier 1 uses the Referral Rate from your default commission settings unless you override it for multi-tier only. Basing later tiers on tier 1's earnings only works with percentage tiers. Inactive affiliates keep their place in the network but are skipped, so their share moves up to the next active affiliate.
How to install AffiliateWP Multi-Tier Commissions
- Install and activate AffiliateWP first under Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin, because this is an add-on for it.
- Log in to GPLGuide, open this product and click Download under Your downloads.
- Go to Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin, choose the Multi-Tier Commissions ZIP and click Install Now.
- Click Activate Plugin once WordPress has finished installing the add-on.
- Open AffiliateWP, Settings, Commissions, scroll to Multi-Tier Commissions, tick Enable Multi-Tier Commissions for all affiliates and click Save Changes.
Features & capabilities
- Up to five commission tiers, two shown by default, with Add Tier and Remove Tiers to change the count.
- Each tier paid as a Percentage, Flat Per Product or Flat Per Order amount in your program's currency.
- A Unilevel plan with unlimited direct recruits, or a Forced Matrix with width, depth and spillover placement.
- Later tiers worked out from tier 1's earnings or straight from the total sale amount, following your tax and shipping exclusion settings.
- A Network Link for each affiliate that opens your registration page and shares to Facebook, LinkedIn, email or a QR code.
- A Network tab with a draggable map of the downline showing visits, referrals, conversion rate and earnings.
- A Parent Affiliate dropdown on the affiliate edit screen to place existing affiliates in the network.
- Deleting an affiliate moves their direct recruits up to that affiliate's parent instead of dropping them.
Frequently asked questions
Is this the original file?
Yes. Every product on GPLGuide is the developer’s own release, unchanged. The license key comes already activated. If a product does ask for a key, the activation steps appear on its page once you have it.
Is it legal to use a GPL plugin or theme from GPLGuide?
Yes. WordPress plugins and themes are released under the GPL, which lets anyone use, share and change the code. The developer’s support desk and the developer’s own update service are not part of the file; those stay with the developer.
How do I install it?
Log in, open the product page and click Download under Your downloads. For a plugin go to Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP, then Install Now and Activate. For a theme go to Appearance, Themes, Add New Theme, Upload Theme.
How do updates work?
When a newer version is listed on GPLGuide, download it from the product page and upload it over the installed copy; WordPress offers to replace the old version. Updates are manual.
Can I use it on more than one site?
Yes. The GPL lets you use it on as many of your own sites as you like.
