About this product
AffiliateWP 2.37.2 is a self-hosted WordPress plugin for running an affiliate program on your own site instead of through an outside network. It suits WooCommerce and Easy Digital Downloads stores, membership and course sites, and donation sites that want bloggers, partners or happy customers to send buyers their way. You decide who joins, what each sale pays and when people get paid, with no platform fee taken from your sales. Developers also use it to set up affiliate programs on client sites.
What's in the AffiliateWP download
Our download is the original AffiliateWP ZIP for version 2.37.2, with the license key already activated. This is the core plugin, and in this version PayPal payouts and store credit are built in, so you don't need the old separate add-ons for them. Pro add-ons such as Affiliate Portal and Multi-Tier Commissions are separate plugins with their own downloads and are not in this file.
Good to know
AffiliateWP needs a self-hosted WordPress site; on WordPress.com it only runs on plans that allow plugins. The developer asks for a current WordPress release and PHP 8 or newer. On activation the plugin creates an Affiliate Area page, and that page only shows affiliate content to users logged in as affiliates, so use an affiliate account to see what your affiliates see. International Stripe payouts stay off until you turn them on under AffiliateWP, Settings, Payouts.
How to install AffiliateWP
- Log in to GPLGuide, open this product and click Download under Your downloads.
- In your WordPress dashboard go to Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin and choose the AffiliateWP ZIP you just downloaded.
- Click Install Now, wait for WordPress to finish the upload, then click Activate Plugin.
- Open AffiliateWP, Settings and click Launch Setup Wizard on the General tab to walk through the main program settings.
- Check AffiliateWP, Settings, Affiliates to confirm which page your affiliates use as their Affiliate Area.

Frequently asked questions
Is this the original file?
Yes. Every product on GPLGuide is the developer’s own release, unchanged. The license key comes already activated. If a product does ask for a key, the activation steps appear on its page once you have it.
Is it legal to use a GPL plugin or theme from GPLGuide?
Yes. WordPress plugins and themes are released under the GPL, which lets anyone use, share and change the code. The developer’s support desk and the developer’s own update service are not part of the file; those stay with the developer.
How do I install it?

How do updates work?
When a newer version is listed on GPLGuide, download it from the product page and upload it over the installed copy; WordPress offers to replace the old version. Updates are manual.
