About this product

BluePay Payment Gateway 1.1.8 is a WooCommerce extension that lets a store take credit card payments through the BluePay gateway at checkout, with BluePay eCheck (ACH) as a second option. It is made for shop owners who already have an active BluePay merchant account and want BluePay to process their WooCommerce orders, including stores that also want to accept payments straight from a bank account. Setup happens on WooCommerce's own Payments settings screen, with the credentials copied over from BluePay Manager.

What's in the BluePay Payment Gateway download

Our download is the original BluePay Payment Gateway ZIP for version 1.1.8, with the license key already activated. The extension adds a BluePay credit card payment method to WooCommerce, with an eCheck option that you set up the same way. It does not include a BluePay merchant account. That comes from BluePay, and you need an active one before the gateway can take a payment.

Good to know

WooCommerce must be active, and the store needs an SSL certificate so checkout runs over HTTPS. The developer's documentation lists no minimum WordPress or PHP version. From BluePay Manager you collect a User ID, an Account ID and a Secret Key, which you create under Website Integration if the field is blank. Test Mode is for trial payments and has to be switched off when you go live. The CVV field can't be turned off.

How to install BluePay Payment Gateway

  1. Install and activate WooCommerce under Plugins, Add New Plugin if your store does not have it yet.
  2. Log in to GPLGuide, open this product and click Download under Your downloads.
  3. In WordPress, go to Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin, choose the BluePay Payment Gateway ZIP, click Install Now, then Activate.
  4. In BluePay Manager, note your User ID under Administration, Users, List and your Account ID under Administration, Accounts, List, then create a Secret Key under Website Integration if it is blank.
  5. Open WooCommerce, Settings, Payments and select the BluePay credit gateway. Enter the Account ID, User ID and Secret Key, choose a Payment Type, then save.
  6. For eCheck, go back to WooCommerce, Settings, Payments, select the eCheck option and repeat the same settings.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the original file?

Yes. Every product on GPLGuide is the developer’s own release, unchanged. The license key comes already activated. If a product does ask for a key, the activation steps appear on its page once you have it.

Is it legal to use a GPL plugin or theme from GPLGuide?

Yes. WordPress plugins and themes are released under the GPL, which lets anyone use, share and change the code. The developer’s support desk and the developer’s own update service are not part of the file; those stay with the developer.

How do I install it?

Log in, open the product page and click Download under Your downloads. For a plugin go to Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP, then Install Now and Activate. For a theme go to Appearance, Themes, Add New Theme, Upload Theme.

How do updates work?

When a newer version is listed on GPLGuide, download it from the product page and upload it over the installed copy; WordPress offers to replace the old version. Updates are manual.

Can I use it on more than one site?

Yes. The GPL lets you use it on as many of your own sites as you like.

What if the file does not work or a newer version is out?

Tell us on the Request Item page or through Support. We check the file and add the newer version when we have it.
