About this product

HT Menu Pro 1.0.9 is a mega menu builder for WordPress sites made with Elementor. It's for site builders and agencies whose header needs more than a plain dropdown: shops with many product categories, magazines with long section lists, and service or course sites that want images, buttons or short texts right inside the menu. You design the dropdown content as an Elementor template and attach it to a normal WordPress menu item, so there's no separate menu system to learn.

What's in the HT Menu Pro download

Our download is the original HT Menu Pro ZIP for version 1.0.9, with the license key already activated. It's the Pro plugin itself, the one with menu icons, badges and the predefined menu layouts. The free HT Menu Lite from the WordPress plugin directory is a separate, smaller plugin and isn't part of this file. Elementor isn't included either; you install it on its own.

Good to know

HT Menu Pro needs the free Elementor plugin. The developer's documentation lists WordPress 5.0 or newer, PHP 7 or newer and Elementor 2.5 or newer. The mega menu content is an Elementor template you build under Templates, Add New, so plan the dropdown there before you open the menu. Low PHP limits are the usual catch: the docs recommend memory_limit 256M and max_execution_time 300, because lower values can cause a white screen or a failed JSON layout import.

How to install HT Menu Pro

  1. Install and activate the free Elementor plugin under Plugins, Add New Plugin if your site doesn't run it yet.
  2. Log in to GPLGuide, open this product and click Download under Your downloads.
  3. Go to Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin and choose the HT Menu Pro ZIP you downloaded.
  4. Click Install Now and then Activate once WordPress has finished the upload.
  5. Create your dropdown content under Templates, Add New and design it in Elementor; the plugin's Style and Template Library tabs hold the colours, mega menu width and ready layouts.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the original file?

Yes. Every product on GPLGuide is the developer’s own release, unchanged. The license key comes already activated. If a product does ask for a key, the activation steps appear on its page once you have it.

Is it legal to use a GPL plugin or theme from GPLGuide?

Yes. WordPress plugins and themes are released under the GPL, which lets anyone use, share and change the code. The developer’s support desk and the developer’s own update service are not part of the file; those stay with the developer.

How do I install it?

Log in, open the product page and click Download under Your downloads. For a plugin go to Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP, then Install Now and Activate. For a theme go to Appearance, Themes, Add New Theme, Upload Theme.

How do updates work?

When a newer version is listed on GPLGuide, download it from the product page and upload it over the installed copy; WordPress offers to replace the old version. Updates are manual.

Can I use it on more than one site?

Yes. The GPL lets you use it on as many of your own sites as you like.

What if the file does not work or a newer version is out?

Tell us on the Request Item page or through Support. We check the file and add the newer version when we have it.
