About this product
MainWP Patchstack Integration 6.0.3 connects a Patchstack account to the self-hosted Dashboard you use to look after many WordPress sites from one admin. It is for agencies and freelancers who maintain client sites, pay for Patchstack or plan to, and want to see vulnerabilities and blocked attacks for every site without logging in to a second security panel. You switch protection on for your child sites from the Dashboard and check the results during your usual maintenance rounds.
What's in the MainWP Patchstack Integration download
Our download is the original MainWP Patchstack Integration ZIP for version 6.0.3. It holds the extension only. The free Dashboard plugin and the Child plugin that each managed site needs come from the WordPress plugin directory, and the extension installs the Patchstack Security plugin on your sites itself. The Patchstack plan is a separate paid service, and putting Patchstack data into client reports needs the Pro Reports add-on, which is not in this file.
Good to know
The extension goes on the site that runs the Dashboard, never on the child sites, and the developer advises keeping that Dashboard on its own clean WordPress install. Each site you protect needs the Child plugin. You also need a Patchstack Developer plan or higher with API access; you find the key in Patchstack under Settings, Integrations. Localhost and private network sites can't be protected. Syncing runs on WP Cron or another scheduler, so make sure cron works on the Dashboard site.
How to install MainWP Patchstack Integration
- Set up the free Dashboard plugin on a dedicated WordPress site and connect each client site to it with the Child plugin.
- Log in to GPLGuide, open this product and click Download under Your downloads.
- On the Dashboard site go to Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP, click Install Now, then Activate.
- In the Dashboard menu open Sites, Security, Patchstack Integration, then paste your Patchstack API key on the Settings tab and save.
- Go to the Overview tab of the same page, add the child sites you want to protect and confirm to start the first sync.
Features & capabilities
- One API key links the account, and adding or changing it maps your sites to their Patchstack IDs.
- Protect many child sites in one run: the extension installs the Patchstack plugin, registers each site and syncs it.
- A confirmation step before bulk actions, and batched syncing when you add a long list of sites.
- Overview list of protected sites with blocked attacks, vulnerabilities, pending updates and time of the last sync.
- Threats Monitor with each issue's protection status, fix availability, CVSS score and date, plus High, Medium and Low totals.
- Per-site Patchstack page with the same threat data and an option to override the general settings for that site.
- Plan-limit usage shown, so you see how much of your Patchstack plan the sites use.
- Scheduled syncing with last-run and next-run times, and full cleanup when you delete a site.
Frequently asked questions
Is this the original file?
Yes. Every product on GPLGuide is the developer’s own release, unchanged. The license key comes already activated. If a product does ask for a key, the activation steps appear on its page once you have it.
Is it legal to use a GPL plugin or theme from GPLGuide?
Yes. WordPress plugins and themes are released under the GPL, which lets anyone use, share and change the code. The developer’s support desk and the developer’s own update service are not part of the file; those stay with the developer.
How do I install it?
Log in, open the product page and click Download under Your downloads. For a plugin go to Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP, then Install Now and Activate. For a theme go to Appearance, Themes, Add New Theme, Upload Theme.
How do updates work?
When a newer version is listed on GPLGuide, download it from the product page and upload it over the installed copy; WordPress offers to replace the old version. Updates are manual.
Can I use it on more than one site?
Yes. The GPL lets you use it on as many of your own sites as you like.
What if the file does not work or a newer version is out?
Tell us on the Request Item page or through Support. We check the file and add the newer version when we have it.
