About this product

The NatureCircle theme is a WooCommerce theme by roadthemes for organic shops that sell food, fresh produce, natural cosmetics and similar goods. Green is its main color, it comes with four ready home page layouts, and its headers and footers are built with WPBakery Page Builder. This page is for NatureCircle 1.1.4, released on February 14, 2025. On GPLGuide you download the original theme file to install on your own online shops.

Good for: organic grocers, farm shops, health food stores, natural skincare brands and small producers who want a fresh, green WooCommerce store with product filters, quick view and a wishlist already designed for them.

Requirements: WordPress and the free WooCommerce plugin. The developer lists the NatureCircle theme as compatible with WordPress 4.9 to 6.7 and WooCommerce 5 to 9, and version 1.1.4 fixed PHP 8 compatibility. No minimum PHP version is published. The item page also names premium plugins under "Extra plugins": WPBakery Page Builder (listed there as Visual Composer), Mega Main Menu, Revolution Slider, Essential Grid and Templatera.

What the NatureCircle theme does

NatureCircle gives a WooCommerce store the look of a modern organic market. You pick one of four predefined home pages, each designed around its own background image, and choose between a boxed or a full-width layout. Colors and Google fonts are set in theme options built on the Redux framework, and the color presets give you a quick starting point if bright green doesn't suit your brand.

Around the shop you get the pages most stores need: contact, about and services pages, a 404 page and three blog layouts with post formats. The blog suits recipes, seasonal news or a diary from the farm. You can create as many custom sidebars as you like and add social icon links. For email sign-ups the item page lists MailPoet and Mailchimp for WordPress, and Contact Form 7 handles the contact forms.

The theme is responsive and Retina ready, so product photos stay sharp on phones and high-density screens. It is listed as compatible with WPML for multilingual shops, The Events Calendar and Bootstrap 4, and the package includes PSD files for designers who want to mock up changes before touching the live store.

The shop side of the NatureCircle theme

Most of the work in the NatureCircle theme goes into the catalog and the product pages. Shoppers can switch the shop between grid and list view, open a quick view window to check a product without leaving the category page, and zoom into product images. Photos also open in a lightbox. The cart uses AJAX, so adding an item doesn't reload the page.

Filtering is built for stores with variations. The item page mentions filters by size, color and material, which helps when you sell the same honey in three jar sizes or handmade soap in several colors. Product carousels let you show bestsellers, new arrivals or a seasonal range on the home page. A wishlist is offered as an optional feature, and a products compare option lets customers weigh up similar items before they buy.

Image zoom comes from YITH WooCommerce Zoom Magnifier, which the changelog shows being updated along with the theme, most recently to version 2.1.1 in October 2021. Version 1.1.3 later fixed image zoom problems again, together with the testimonials block.

Headers, menus and sliders in the NatureCircle theme

Header and footer layouts are built with WPBakery Page Builder, so you change them in the same drag and drop editor you use for pages instead of editing code. Templatera, a template add-on for that builder, is on the list of extra plugins too. Mega Main Menu gives you a large drop-down menu, which is handy when you have many categories such as fruit, vegetables, dairy, pantry and beauty.

Revolution Slider is there for sliders and banners, and Essential Grid can lay out posts or other content in grids. All of these are premium plugins made by other companies. The item page lists them as extra plugins but doesn't say whether licence keys for them are included or how they are updated, so don't count on separate support from their makers.

The visual settings live in the Redux based theme options. That's where you set colors and Google fonts across the site, pick a color preset and decide between boxed and full-width layouts. With unlimited custom sidebars you can make separate widget areas, for example one for the shop and another for the blog.

Demo content and first steps

The developer provides sample content so you can start from a site that looks like the demo and swap in your own products. The changelog mentions Roadtheme import data and a Roadtheme helper plugin, and version 1.0.6 changed the download links for the required plugins. We couldn't find the documentation for the NatureCircle theme on a public website, so we can't describe the exact import screens here.

If you'd rather start clean, skip the sample content and build the home page yourself from WPBakery rows, a Revolution Slider banner and a product carousel. It takes longer, but you only end up with the sections you need and no demo posts to delete later.

Shop setups to copy with the NatureCircle theme

These ideas only use tools named on the item page, so you can build them with the plugins the theme already expects.

  • Farm shop with weekly boxes: put a product carousel of this week's boxes on the home page and use the size filter for small, medium and family boxes.
  • Natural skincare brand: use the color filter for shades, quick view for fast browsing and the wishlist so customers can save gift ideas.
  • Health food store with a big range: build a mega menu with one column per aisle and offer list view for shoppers who scan names and prices.
  • Market stall moving online: list your market days with The Events Calendar and post weekly news on the blog.
  • Shop in two languages: translate products and pages with WPML, which the theme lists as compatible.
  • Zero-waste pantry: use the material filter for glass, paper or refill packs and compare for similar products.

Whatever you sell, start with one home layout, one color preset and real product photos. Add sliders and carousels once the shop pages and checkout work the way you want.

What's new in the NatureCircle theme 1.1.4

Version 1.1.4 came out on February 14, 2025. It fixed PHP 8 compatibility and updated the theme for the WooCommerce and WordPress versions current at that time. It is the newest version on the item page.

Before that, 1.1.3 (May 11, 2023) fixed image zoom and the testimonials and brought support up to WooCommerce 7. Version 1.1.2 (October 19, 2021) updated YITH WooCommerce Zoom Magnifier to 2.1.1 and WooCommerce support to 5.8.0, and fixed how Font Awesome icons displayed. Version 1.1.1 (July 15, 2021) refreshed the import data and fixed a bug in the Roadtheme helper plugin.

Good to know before you buy

NatureCircle is an older theme that gets occasional maintenance updates. The last one is from February 2025, and the compatibility list stops at WordPress 6.7 and WooCommerce 9. We haven't tested it on newer versions, so try it on a staging copy before you switch a live shop over. The browser list on the item page still includes Internet Explorer 10 and 11, which shows the theme's age, but it also covers current Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera and Edge.

It's a WPBakery theme, not an Elementor theme. If you already build pages with Elementor or the block editor, expect to learn a different editor for headers, footers and home pages.

The item page lists sample content and sample background images. It doesn't say that the product photos from the demo come with the download, so plan to use your own photos. Nothing on the item page points to a cloud library, AI tool or other service that runs on the developer's servers.

NatureCircle theme from GPLGuide vs the official subscription

The NatureCircle theme is sold by roadthemes on ThemeForest. The Regular licence costs $48 there and includes future updates through the marketplace and six months of item support from roadthemes, which you can extend to 12 months for $13.50. Under Envato's licence for this item, its PHP code is licensed under the GPL.

From GPLGuide you get the original NatureCircle 1.1.4 theme file. The file from GPLGuide comes with the license key already activated, so there is no key to enter. The home layouts, shop tools and theme options work as they do in the developer's package.

What only roadthemes provides is item support, refunds under Envato's rules and updates delivered to your Envato account. If you want the developer's help with your setup, buy the licence on ThemeForest.

How to install the NatureCircle theme on WordPress in four steps
Installing the NatureCircle theme and its plugins in four steps.

A good first setup is to run WooCommerce's own setup for currency, shipping and payments, then add five or six real products with photos and variations. Pick the home layout closest to your range, apply a color preset and check the shop in both grid and list view. Test quick view, the filters and the AJAX cart on a phone before you open the store.

Keeping it up to date

Updates from GPLGuide are manual. When a new version of the NatureCircle theme is listed here, download it from your account and upload it under Appearance, Themes, Add New Theme, Upload Theme. WordPress offers to replace the installed copy, and your products, pages and settings stay in the database. If you change theme files, keep those edits in a child theme so an update doesn't overwrite them. If you see a newer version that we haven't added, tell us on the Request Item/Update page.
