About this product
Polylang Pro 3.8.10 is the paid edition of the Polylang plugin for running one WordPress site in several languages. It is for businesses, schools, hotels and agencies that publish the same pages for readers in different countries and want each language to have its own URLs, menus and search tags. It also fits multiregional sites where some pages must stay identical in every language, and teams that send content to outside translators or a machine translation account instead of copying text by hand.
What's in the Polylang Pro download
Our download is the original Polylang Pro ZIP for version 3.8.10, with the license key already activated. Pro shares its core with the free Polylang, so it replaces that plugin rather than running next to it. A multilingual WooCommerce shop also needs Polylang for WooCommerce, which the developer sells separately or with Pro in its Business Pack, and which is not part of this product. Machine translation uses your own DeepL API key.
Good to know
This version needs WordPress 6.5 or newer and PHP 7.4 or newer. You don't have to remove the free Polylang first: activating Pro switches it off, and both use the same data. Deactivate any other multilingual plugin before you activate, or you may get odd results. Machine translation doesn't work with Elementor and some other page builders. Changing a language code later changes the URLs of every post in that language, so plan redirects.
How to install Polylang Pro
- Log in to GPLGuide, open this product and click Download under Your downloads.
- On the Plugins screen, deactivate any other multilingual plugin; the free Polylang can stay because Pro switches it off.
- Go to Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin, choose the Polylang Pro ZIP and click Install Now.
- Click Activate Plugin, and the setup wizard opens to walk you through languages, media and existing content.
- If you skip the wizard, run it later from Languages, Setup, and add or edit languages under Languages, Languages.

Frequently asked questions
Is this the original file?
Yes. Every product on GPLGuide is the developer’s own release, unchanged. The license key comes already activated. If a product does ask for a key, the activation steps appear on its page once you have it.
Is it legal to use a GPL plugin or theme from GPLGuide?
Yes. WordPress plugins and themes are released under the GPL, which lets anyone use, share and change the code. The developer’s support desk and the developer’s own update service are not part of the file; those stay with the developer.
How do I install it?
Log in, open the product page and click Download under Your downloads. For a plugin go to Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP, then Install Now and Activate. For a theme go to Appearance, Themes, Add New Theme, Upload Theme.
How do updates work?
When a newer version is listed on GPLGuide, download it from the product page and upload it over the installed copy; WordPress offers to replace the old version. Updates are manual.
Can I use it on more than one site?
Yes. The GPL lets you use it on as many of your own sites as you like.
What if the file does not work or a newer version is out?
Tell us on the Request Item page or through Support. We check the file and add the newer version when we have it.
