About this product
Porto Theme 7.9.5 is a multipurpose WordPress theme with a strong WooCommerce side, made for shops, corporate sites and agencies that want to start from a prebuilt demo and get a fast site without writing code. It suits store owners who need their own shop, product and checkout layouts, and developers who work in Elementor, WPBakery or the block editor and want one theme for all three.
What's in the Porto Theme download
Our download is the original Porto package for version 7.9.5, with the license key already activated. The theme works with its required Porto Functionality plugin and comes with WPBakery Page Builder and Revolution Slider, which you install from Appearance, Install Plugins or the setup wizard. The wizard can also set up a child theme and import demo content in one click. Images and other assets on the demos are for preview only and are not part of the purchase.
Good to know
Porto needs PHP 7.4 or higher and the latest WordPress. The docs recommend memory_limit 512M, max_execution_time 600, max_input_vars 2000 and upload_max_filesize 64M. If the download holds more than one ZIP, unzip it on your computer first and upload the theme's own ZIP, porto.zip. Install and activate all theme plugins before you import a demo, and keep in mind that an import resets your current theme settings with no way to revert them.
How to install Porto Theme
- Log in to GPLGuide, open this product and click Download under Your downloads.
- If the download holds more than one ZIP, unzip it on your computer first and keep the theme's own ZIP, porto.zip.
- In your WordPress dashboard, go to Appearance, Themes, Add New Theme, Upload Theme, choose porto.zip, click Install Now, then Activate.
- Follow the setup wizard that appears after activation to install Porto Functionality and the page builder you want to use.
- Import a demo in the wizard if you want one, then adjust colors, fonts and layouts under Porto, Theme Options.

Frequently asked questions
Is this the original file?
Yes. Every product on GPLGuide is the developer’s own release, unchanged. The license key comes already activated. If a product does ask for a key, the activation steps appear on its page once you have it.
Is it legal to use a GPL plugin or theme from GPLGuide?
Yes. WordPress plugins and themes are released under the GPL, which lets anyone use, share and change the code. The developer’s support desk and the developer’s own update service are not part of the file; those stay with the developer.
How do I install it?
Log in, open the product page and click Download under Your downloads. For a plugin go to Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP, then Install Now and Activate. For a theme go to Appearance, Themes, Add New Theme, Upload Theme.
How do updates work?
When a newer version is listed on GPLGuide, download it from the product page and upload it over the installed copy; WordPress offers to replace the old version. Updates are manual.
Can I use it on more than one site?
Yes. The GPL lets you use it on as many of your own sites as you like.
