About this product

WooCommerce Autoship Payflow Payments 4.1.18 connects the Payflow Pro payment gateway from PayPal to WC Autoship, the developer's plugin for repeat orders in WooCommerce. It is meant for stores that sell things customers reorder on a schedule and that take card payments through a Payflow Pro account. Shoppers pay at the normal checkout, their card is stored as a WooCommerce payment token, and later Autoship orders can be charged to it. The developer describes it as working in place of the WooCommerce PayPal Pro plugin.

What's in the WooCommerce Autoship Payflow Payments download

Our download is the original WooCommerce Autoship Payflow Payments ZIP for version 4.1.18, with the license key already activated. It is the Payflow gateway add-on only. WC Autoship itself is a separate product, and the developer's other gateway add-ons for Braintree, Authorize.net and PayPal are separate downloads as well.

Good to know

This is an add-on for WC Autoship, a separate paid plugin, which in turn needs WooCommerce 2.6 or newer and a theme that works with WooCommerce. You also need your own Payflow Pro merchant account with PayPal, and Reference Transactions must be enabled in it. In sandbox mode, turn off the Fraud Protection Service in Payflow Pro, or test cards won't go through. The developer now lists WC Autoship itself under Deprecated on its downloads page, so make sure your store still runs it before you add this gateway.

How to install WooCommerce Autoship Payflow Payments

  1. If your site doesn't run WooCommerce yet, install and activate it first under Plugins, Add New Plugin.
  2. Install and activate the WC Autoship plugin, since this gateway only works together with it.
  3. Log in to GPLGuide, open this product and click Download under Your downloads.
  4. Go to Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP, click Install Now, then Activate.
  5. Log in to your Payflow Pro Control Panel and copy the API credentials for your account.
  6. Open the Payflow gateway's settings page in WooCommerce, save the credentials, then test a checkout and a payment method change on an Autoship schedule.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the original file?

Yes. Every product on GPLGuide is the developer’s own release, unchanged. The license key comes already activated. If a product does ask for a key, the activation steps appear on its page once you have it.

Is it legal to use a GPL plugin or theme from GPLGuide?

Yes. WordPress plugins and themes are released under the GPL, which lets anyone use, share and change the code. The developer’s support desk and the developer’s own update service are not part of the file; those stay with the developer.

How do I install it?

Log in, open the product page and click Download under Your downloads. For a plugin go to Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP, then Install Now and Activate. For a theme go to Appearance, Themes, Add New Theme, Upload Theme.

How do updates work?

When a newer version is listed on GPLGuide, download it from the product page and upload it over the installed copy; WordPress offers to replace the old version. Updates are manual.

Can I use it on more than one site?

Yes. The GPL lets you use it on as many of your own sites as you like.

What if the file does not work or a newer version is out?

Tell us on the Request Item page or through Support. We check the file and add the newer version when we have it.
