About this product
WooCommerce Social Login 2.18.4 lets customers sign in or register at your store with an account they already have, such as Facebook, Google or PayPal, instead of making up another username and password. It is meant for shops that lose buyers at the account step of checkout, stores that rely on returning customers, and sites where people log in to leave reviews. Each social account is tied to a normal WordPress user, so a customer can still reset a password and log in the usual way later.
What's in the WooCommerce Social Login download
Our download is the original WooCommerce Social Login ZIP for version 2.18.4, with the license key already activated. It is a single WooCommerce extension. The networks it connects to in this version are Facebook, X (the former Twitter), Google, Amazon, LinkedIn, PayPal and Disqus. VKontakte, Instagram and Yahoo were dropped in earlier releases, so they are not part of it. The app at each network is yours to create.
Good to know
The developer's changelog asks for WordPress 5.6 or newer, PHP 7.4 or newer and WooCommerce 3.9.4 or newer, and the server needs cURL. No button shows until you create an app at that network and paste its client ID and secret into the plugin. Amazon sign-in needs SSL on the Checkout and My Account pages, and Facebook needs the Force SSL option. With a caching plugin, exclude the wc-api address from the cache, or logins end in an access error.

Frequently asked questions
Is this the original file?
Yes. Every product on GPLGuide is the developer’s own release, unchanged. The license key comes already activated. If a product does ask for a key, the activation steps appear on its page once you have it.
Is it legal to use a GPL plugin or theme from GPLGuide?
Yes. WordPress plugins and themes are released under the GPL, which lets anyone use, share and change the code. The developer’s support desk and the developer’s own update service are not part of the file; those stay with the developer.
How do I install it?
Log in, open the product page and click Download under Your downloads. For a plugin go to Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP, then Install Now and Activate. For a theme go to Appearance, Themes, Add New Theme, Upload Theme.
How do updates work?
When a newer version is listed on GPLGuide, download it from the product page and upload it over the installed copy; WordPress offers to replace the old version. Updates are manual.
Can I use it on more than one site?
Yes. The GPL lets you use it on as many of your own sites as you like.
What if the file does not work or a newer version is out?
Tell us on the Request Item page or through Support. We check the file and add the newer version when we have it.
