WooCommerce Sofort Payment Gateway 1.6.0 adds Sofort online bank transfer as a payment method in your WooCommerce checkout. It suits European stores whose customers would rather pay straight from their own online banking account than type in card details. Shoppers who bank in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy, Spain, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary or the United Kingdom can use it. You connect the store to your own Sofort merchant account with one configuration key, and the method then sits next to your other payment options.

Our download is the original WooCommerce Sofort Payment Gateway ZIP for version 1.6.0, with the license key already activated. The extension comes in English and German. A Sofort merchant account is not part of it: you register with Sofort or log in to your existing account yourself, then create the project there that gives you the configuration key.
Good to know
It needs WooCommerce, and your store currency must be set to EUR, GBP, CHF or PLN, because the gateway only supports those four. The developer's docs name no minimum WooCommerce, WordPress or PHP version. The setup step the docs flag as important is the project type in the Sofort account: create a SOFORT Gateway Project, not a SOFORT Classic Project, and keep it out of test mode, because only that project type carries the right key. How to install WooCommerce Sofort Payment Gateway
- If your site doesn't run WooCommerce yet, install and activate it under Plugins, Add New Plugin.
- Log in to GPLGuide, open this product and click Download under Your downloads.
- In WordPress go to Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP, click Install Now, then Activate.
- In your Sofort merchant account open My Projects, create a SOFORT Gateway Project that is not in test mode and copy its configuration key.
- Open WooCommerce, Settings, Payments, click the Sofort online bank transfer method, paste the key, fill in title, description and notification email, then save.

Is this the original file?
