About this product
WPBakery Page Builder 9.0.1 is a drag and drop page builder for WordPress that lets you lay out pages from rows, columns and content elements, either in the backend or live on the front end. It's aimed at site owners, freelancers and agencies who build landing pages, service pages and shop pages without hand-coding them, and at anyone running a theme designed around this builder. Version 9.0 brought a redesigned editing interface and a rebuilt drag and drop engine, and 9.0.1 is a fix release on top of it.
What's in the WPBakery Page Builder download
Our download is the original WPBakery Page Builder ZIP for version 9.0.1, with the license key already activated. The plugin itself includes the frontend and backend editors, the template window with its template library, the AI assistant, the SEO window and the Grid Builder. Templatera and Easy Tables are separate add-ons from the developer and are not part of this product, and the 200+ add-ons in the Extensions catalog are separate products too.
Good to know
The developer asks for PHP 7.4 or higher, MySQL 8.0 or MariaDB 10.4 or higher, a PHP memory limit of at least 256M, HTTPS, and the Zip, cURL, Exif and GD extensions. If the download holds more than one ZIP, unzip it on the computer first and upload the plugin's own ZIP, js_composer.zip, because uploading the whole package fails with "No valid plugins were found". If the builder is missing on posts or custom post types, open WPBakery Page Builder, Role Manager and set Post Types to Custom for your role.
How to install WPBakery Page Builder

- If the download holds more than one ZIP, unzip it on the computer first and keep the plugin's own ZIP, js_composer.zip, for the upload.

Frequently asked questions
Is this the original file?
Yes. Every product on GPLGuide is the developer’s own release, unchanged. The license key comes already activated. If a product does ask for a key, the activation steps appear on its page once you have it.
Is it legal to use a GPL plugin or theme from GPLGuide?
Yes. WordPress plugins and themes are released under the GPL, which lets anyone use, share and change the code. The developer’s support desk and the developer’s own update service are not part of the file; those stay with the developer.
How do I install it?
Log in, open the product page and click Download under Your downloads. For a plugin go to Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP, then Install Now and Activate. For a theme go to Appearance, Themes, Add New Theme, Upload Theme.
How do updates work?
When a newer version is listed on GPLGuide, download it from the product page and upload it over the installed copy; WordPress offers to replace the old version. Updates are manual.
Can I use it on more than one site?
Yes. The GPL lets you use it on as many of your own sites as you like.
What if the file does not work or a newer version is out?
Tell us on the Request Item page or through Support. We check the file and add the newer version when we have it.
