About this product
Advanced Forms Pro 1.9.3.7 turns your ACF field groups into front-end forms on a WordPress site. It is for developers and site builders who already work with ACF and want visitors to submit content, register or update their profile without going into the admin: a job board taking listings, a directory where members edit their own entry, or a quote form that works out a total while people fill it in. You build each form once in the admin and place it with a shortcode or a block.
What's in the Advanced Forms Pro download
Our download is the original Advanced Forms Pro ZIP for version 1.9.3.7, with the license key already activated. It is the Pro edition, which adds post and user editing, calculated fields, reCAPTCHA and the Slack, Mailchimp and Zapier connections on top of the free form builder. ACF Pro, which the plugin builds on, is a separate plugin and is not in this file.
Good to know
You need ACF Pro installed and active, since every form is made from ACF field groups. The developer lists WordPress 5.4 or newer, and our file asks for PHP 7.1 or newer. If the success message doesn't show after a submit, page caching is the usual cause, so exclude the form page from your cache. Very large forms can hit the PHP max_input_vars limit, and ACF gallery fields only work for logged-in users.
How to install Advanced Forms Pro
- Install and activate ACF Pro under Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin, because the forms are built from its field groups.
- Log in to GPLGuide, open this product and click Download under Your downloads.
- In WordPress go to Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin, choose the Advanced Forms Pro ZIP and click Install Now.
- Click Activate when the upload finishes, and a new Forms menu appears in the admin sidebar.
- Open Forms, Add New to create your first form, then assign an ACF field group to it through the field group's Location Rules.

Frequently asked questions
Is this the original file?
Yes. Every product on GPLGuide is the developer’s own release, unchanged. The license key comes already activated. If a product does ask for a key, the activation steps appear on its page once you have it.
Is it legal to use a GPL plugin or theme from GPLGuide?
Yes. WordPress plugins and themes are released under the GPL, which lets anyone use, share and change the code. The developer’s support desk and the developer’s own update service are not part of the file; those stay with the developer.
How do I install it?
Log in, open the product page and click Download under Your downloads. For a plugin go to Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP, then Install Now and Activate. For a theme go to Appearance, Themes, Add New Theme, Upload Theme.
How do updates work?
When a newer version is listed on GPLGuide, download it from the product page and upload it over the installed copy; WordPress offers to replace the old version. Updates are manual.
Can I use it on more than one site?
Yes. The GPL lets you use it on as many of your own sites as you like.
What if the file does not work or a newer version is out?
Tell us on the Request Item page or through Support. We check the file and add the newer version when we have it.
